wanting aftermarket alarm…BUT ive seen cars that mess up and The Alarm wont let the vehicle start?
whats with that…..ive seen alot of cars recently where the alarm messes up like the battery dies and they jump it and the alarm wont let the car start up any more it like disengages the starter something….what happens then…i dont want that to happen
It’s true, at least with my Viper Car Alarm It’s true. You have to read the operator’s manual and follow the instructions EXACTLY to fix the problem.
It’s probably the same with all aftermarket Car Alarms.
For me the fix is:
Put the key in the ignition and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the valet/overide
button until the blinking LED goes solid.
