What’s the best car alarm I could get for $150 shipped (NYC)preferably with remote start?
What brands should I consider? (Or stay away from).
Please, no ebay and thanks for any input.
stay away from no name stuff because all they do is unlock your door and give no security protection.
look into Clifford alarms they are very good and you can pick up for under $150 on some web sites. The only thing is the installation is going to be extra, if you can do it your self then you can save the money. I personally would let the professional do it because they know how to hook up the sensors to the doors and different parts of the car properly. If you have a nice car and you want to keep it let the professional do it. Stay away from instalation from Circuit City or Bestbuy. Research some local custom shops they are way more experienced.
