How can I stop the gossip after I was caught sleeping nude?
I live at the dorms this year with some friends and usually sleep nude at night. Last week some stupid person pulled the fire alarm in the middle of the night so I got up and only found my towel to wrap myself in. Now my roommates and the whole floor know I sleep naked and people are still talking trash about me. Why does everyone think sleeping naked makes me a slut?
They dont think you’re a slut. They’re just teasing cause they saw you in a towel. The thing about gossip is you really cant stop it, thats why its so dangerous. The more you TRY to stop it, the more you feed it. So just let it go, there will be something new for them to talk about soon. Next time have an emergency oversized t-shirt or something at the end of the bed that you can throw on. Works as well as a towel and not nearly as interesting.
