Is it safe to sleep with a cell phone under your pillow as an alarm clock even if the radio signal is off?
I know it’s not safe if the radio signal is on, but is there any harm in sleeping with a cell phone under your pillow as an alarm clock if there is no communication to cell towers?
No scientific documented evidence exists that anyone has ever been harmed by sleeping with a cell phone under their pillow . . . long time studies done over a period of 20 years showed no evidence that a cell phone has ever placed a person at any higher risk . .however it should be noted that the stakes have changed with cell phones, they are a staple in the home, and people carry them everywhere . . so it is relatively unknown at this point if this may ’cause’ trouble or place a person at risk at sometime in the distant future. So the answer is unknown and it may take years before any evidence is discovered one way or the other. Currently . . no evidence exists that cell phones cause or place a person at a higher risk to develop cancer.
