Will the ipod classic work with the ihome ih8 Alarm Clock?
Yes, because it only has sound output. The only devices iPod Classic will not work with are those that had video output of some kind, because it requires an authentication chip now.
I have several different docks from different companies that all play music through the dock connector, and all work with the iPod Classic.
