How much should I sell my laptop/notebook for?

I have a Packard Bell laptop/notebook that I want to sell, but am unsure of how much to ask for it.
Operating System is Windows Vista Home Premium.
Processor is Intel Core 2 Duo
ATI Graphics
894 MB of RAM.

purely because of the accessories with it.

Home Alarm System: Is It Really Secure?

Are you planning to purchase a home alarm system? You will be surprised when I tell you that most alarm systems are just support systems and do not prevent thieves from entering your house. Nowadays, burglars are very smart when it comes to alarm systems because they know most of these security gadgets if installed inside your house.

The other one will be an alarm system using a siren incase a home security system has been breached. This will create a very loud noise, alerting the neighborhood that something wrong is going to that house using that security.

It is better if the siren includes a flashlight or moving light so that you neighbors can see easily where the alarm is coming from. I’ll tell you, this will make burglars to be crazy because they need to escape as fast as they could to avoid being noticed.

If a police outpost is near in your home, you will have a better chance to capture those thieves even if they are fast.

If you still want to purchase an alarm system, here are some points you need to consider:

1. When it comes to cost, most alarm systems ranges from $1,000 or more, depending on the packages you avail.

2. Be sure that the system is a complete set where you can install it in vulnerable parts of your home like windows and doors inside and outside. Ask the manufacturer for more options. You can also add some accessories to help in the monitoring of your house.

3. Do not forget the product warranty, as this is one of the most important parts of every new product. Also, make sure that you only buy from those reliable manufacturers with proven record of providing quality security systems and after-sales service.  

Lastly, ask the authorities on how long can they respond to certain incidents because policemen are the ones responsible in the peace and order in your place.
