Replacing a remote car Alarm Keychain for a car?
My remote Car Alarm (the thing that attachs to my keychain to lock and unlock the car) for my ‘03 Toyota snapped off and I can’t seem to get it fixed. I was only given only of these alarms because I bought the truck new. I called Toyota, and apparently a replacement will cost $120 plus $40 programming charge! Does anyone know anywhere else one can buy these remote Car Alarms, perhaps at a slightly cheaper price? Or can you only buy them from the dealer?

Try Ebay for the new remote. I Found one for $20. Then you can have Toyota program it.
