Car Alarm Notification
need help on my project?

I got this new project on car alarm with remote notification, some thing like when a car alarm is trigged it sends information to the owner. I just need to create a modal. Can any I help me on how to design and construct this project

I can help you generally and briefly:

1. You need a sensor, or an electric circuit that closes when a certain part of the car is pushed (i.e the door hand) maybe a relay switch

2. you need a simple microprocessor PIC that will digitalize or encode the analog signal

3. You need a “transmitter” that transmits this signal (maybe using a blue tooth protocol)

4. A receiving end with a simple microprocessor to enable encoding and viewing the message in a LED form (i.e like a calculator).

Work hard and Good Luck.

Home Security Solutions for Extended Absences

There’s nothing quite like walking in the door to your house after an extended absence and actually feeling at home again. Whether you’ve been away a couple of weeks or just a weekend, it’s nice to enjoy the peace and tranquility of being back in your own space.

While planning for any sort of trip might be about where you’re going, it’s equally important to be thinking about the best ways to ensure that your home stays safe and secure while you’re out of town. While it’s common to be running out the door to make your flight wondering whether or not you turned off the coffee maker or set your home security system, people often forget to think about things like making sure that one’s home doesn’t look vulnerable or like an ideal target for robbers.

Whether you’re going out of town for business or to visit family in another state, it’s important to be thinking about the best way to leave your home that will ensure everything will be in its right place when you get back. After all, it’s proven that homes are at their most vulnerable when no one is present. After all, thieves are far more interested in robbing a residence where no one is home, and an extended absence, like a vacation, is an even more ideal time, since the robbers can take their time.

The good news is that you don’t have to be at home to make sure that home security is taken care of. The first step to preparing your house for an extended absence is to do a thorough check of all doors and windows, making sure that they are both closed and locked before leaving the house. This goes for doors that aren’t obvious points of entry, too, like the door leading from the garage into your home, or a door leading from an enclosed patio. Lots of times, people forget to lock these doors and make breaking in a lot easier.

However, the best defense against your home is making it appear occupied, as a robber is a lot less likely to be hanging out and trying to break in if he thinks that you’re currently in town. Be sure to ask the post office and your newspaper delivery person to put the mail and the paper on hold for the duration of time you’re out of town, because nothing makes it clear that nobody’s home quite like a pile of newspapers and mail on your front step. If it’s possible, leaving a car in the driveway is also an excellent psychological tool to making the house look occupied.

But the best way to ensure home security while you’re out of town is to set your indoor and outdoor lights on some sort of timer, that changes up the hours each day that the lights go on and off. As far as visual clues go, your house’s lights are one of the things that a criminal casing your home pays the most attention to, so if it appears there is movement in the home, then that’s going to be a major factor in dissuading a break-in.

If you’re still feeling apprehensive about the safety of your home, consider investing in a home Alarm System, which has automatic police notification if it is triggered. Another less expensive option is asking a trusted neighbor to keep an eye on your house, in the event that there needs to be any sort of police notification or if something suspicious is happening. Be sure to give that neighbor a phone number where you can be reached as well.
