Is it Legal to carry a gun concealed or open on apartment complex grouds if you are a resident?
I am a gun owner and live in an apartment. The other day my Car Alarm went off at night and I ran outside to see what was going on. The thought crossed my mind to bring a weapon for protection, and maybe brandish it to protect my car. I thought that this would be illegal and did not. If this was my house and somebody tried to steal my car out of my drive way I know I could of had a weapon, and would be justified. So, does anyone know the law on this.
It all depends what state you live in. There are 34 states that allow concealed carry of weapons if you have a permit.It is for you and your family’s protection only. You do not have the right to shoot somebody if they are trying to steal your car. Only when it is a threat to your safety.
