Will my Emerson Research alarm clock reset itself tonite?
I have an Emerson Research Alarm Clock Radio. This is a “smart set” clock. I’m not sure that it will reset itself to the correct time tonight considering that daylight saving time starts early now. I believe this thing may have been programmed before to change itself on the usual day daylight saving time begins. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This clock is not an “atomic clock” so I don’t think it will reset with the atomic clock in Colorado. Help! I’m fixin’ to go to bed and don’t know what to do.
It depends on when it was manufactured. Get the 1st 4 numbers of the Serial Number on the bottom of the clock. If it is 0608 or higher, it will reset itself. If not then you will have to reset it. Got to emersonradio.com and click on ‘Contact Us’. An option will appear in the middle of the screen for ‘Important Daylight Savings Time’ which will give you the instructions you need. It also gives a hotline to call for assistance – 800-526-7521. I hope this helps. I’m resetting mine right now.
