mysterious clock changes?
my alarm clock is one of those kind that is not digital (is that analog??) and you have to twist this knob to set the time. sooo i’ve had it for about a week, and one day i woke up at 9 am (not from my alarm) and it said it was 6:30 am! and today i was just checking the time and it said it was 9:50 when it was really 10:10.
So what do you think could cause these mysterious time changes? :O
i bought it at the dollar store, if that tells ya anything. but it was 5 bucks what a rip off >.<
oh and i always make sure i set the time correctly.
Your mysterious clock seems to be running slower than usual. I say its probably all them gears and springs inside are rusty. Try opening the back, if you can, and just put on a few drops of baby oil on them gears. If you can’t open it, then just spray on a few squirts of WD40 penetrating oil, inserting the nozzle into any hole you find at the back. This should loosen up all rusty parts. If this doesn’t work, well just use it as a paperweight instead.
