What is this obnoxious alarm in my house?
My power has been surging in my house. It makes lights flash and power go on and off. When this happens an extremely harsh loud beep noise rings randomly. Can anyone tell me what this noise could possibly be. It’s a noise that is so loud it scares everyone in the house.
Xena, actually it might be over smoke detectors or battery operated alarms. I have a Co2 alarm, and during cold weather when my heater was on (which is based on gas) I woke up to this scary loud sound in my house. Once I had to replace the battery and the other time I just had to remove the Alarm Box to fresh air. But I am not sure what the case is in this situation.
